Safety
First
It
goes without saying that Thamer will not attempt
a task which it cannot complete safely. Our
field managers have all been comprehensively
trained on a broad spectrum of aspects of
construction safety. Thamer treats expenses for
safety training, safe construction techniques,
safety equipment, and the Company’s safety
program as savings, not as costs. The first and
foremost reason Thamer stresses thinking safety
and working safely at our jobsites is to protect
our most valuable resources, our employees.
Thamer has also discovered that working safely
is the most cost effective way to conduct
business. The costs for implementing a safety
program pale in comparison to the costs of
accidents on an unsafe jobsite.
Thamer
would appreciate the opportunity to discuss how
we can work with you to meet your industrial,
water purification, or heavy construction needs.
Our e-mail address is tci@thamer.com and
our telephone number is (770) 447-1918.
Above
and Beyond
Thamer
also prides itself in going the extra mile for
our customers. We are constantly searching for ways
to save our customers money, without
compromising the integrity of the project
design. This "value engineering"
enables our customers to spend their money on
work which they want performed, but which might
not have otherwise been possible due to budget
constraints. In addition, Thamer attempts to schedule
our construction activities to minimize
interruptions in the customer’s daily
operations to the greatest degree practical.
This results in an indirect cost savings to our
customers by minimizing lost revenues due to
construction interruptions.
The
Team Approach
Thamer
takes a team approach to building each new job.
The project team members include Thamer’s
project manager and superintendent, our
customer, the consulting engineer, and any other
parties involved with designing and constructing
the project. Thamer feels that team building is
an integral part of the communication between
all parties associated with the construction
project. If good lines of communication
are maintained for the duration of the project,
Thamer finds that the result is our customer
receiving the end product the customer
desires, at the cost the customer
anticipated, on the date the customer
expected.
